What a wonderful hope for the futute, full of profound and simple truths. I loved the book because Jesus Christ is at the centre. I often dip into Embraced by the Light, when I need comfort and to remind myself that God is in control.

I read Embraced by the Light after losing my dad, several weeks after burying him I heard him call my name. After this experience, I yearned to read spiritual material, went to the Public Library and was actually directed to your book. I also knew and was very familiar with everything you mentioned from the other side. I became very interested in this subject and could not get enough. Your experience has brought me so much undertanding and is in part of who I am today. Knowing that God our source does exist, I did ask for wisdom and gave it to me in the form of being able to see those on the other side. I am able to see my family, guides, including Jesus. Jesus has come to me as well as other spiritual beings to teach, and that is what I have been doing on and off in over 2 years. As you mentioned we are eternal beings, thank you for writing your experience I could not put the book down.

I hope that the movie script does not skimp (like the synopsis does) on the part where Betty asks and has answered some very serious life questions. That was the most important point of the book (as least the part that spoke to me) and the movie should deliver that message.

I am just one of many that will feel apart of it all, when we sit down to see the movie. To be able to go where Betty went. What she saw and heard has all been put in her books and read many times by me. Now we can see with our own eyes the glory of what Betty went through. Although it will only be something like the (light) and ofcoarse not fully as to what Betty experienced as it is so glorious in heaven. But it will be a close second. I feel very shortly this will be in production and going. Right now Joe Eadie is very ill and my prayers are for him and Betty right now. But someday soon I will see

I had just lost my mother when a professor called and told me to read your book. In my 56 years my mother and I had never been separated more than 6 months so I was devasted. I didn't cry when she died but alone in my office I would have unexpected bouts of grief and tears. After reading your book and listening to your tapes I found comfort and peace that my mom was truly in heaven. I became a one woman publicity for Embraced by the Light and I bought every copy I could find in Spanish and gave them as gifts. I went as far as Spain to get copies. The pain over the loss of my mother has not lessen nor the fact that I miss her terribly, but the hope of seeing her and my sister again strenthens me. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Thank you for sharing your experience with so many people. My Aunt gave me a copy of your book "Embraced by the Light" Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. I know it's all true. Your experience brought conformation to a something similar that I have been experiencing over the years. I have often thought about our existance. I thought we existed before the foundations of the earth and what you experienced in your death, as far as seeing the souls choosing their parents and entering their mothers womb. I saw many times in my own thoughts. I thought I was just imagining things until I read your book. Now I know God has been showing me the truth all along. I am so glad that you had the courage to share your experience. I was so depressed, my feelings and emotions had just been crushed. bitterness, hate, anger, low self worth and a few other things started creeping into my spirit. But after I read your book I had a renewed spirit. I will never be the same again. Your experience became mine. I saw everything that you saw as I read, I saw it so vivid, so clear. I thank God for sending you back to this earth. I know I was part of your reason for coming back. I know we will never meet on this earth, but I believe that we will be awesome friends in heaven. I can hardly wait until the movie comes out. I am praying that God will bring it together soon. It's so awesome that you got to see Jesus. I saw Him through you. I used to browse different books at National Bookstore but this was the first time(today) in my life to read a book( Embraced By The Light) from cover to cover. I don't know why that by just reading the title of your book, there was suddenly an ardent interest for me to read your book. I do believe in your story because i once had a great story when i was 13 years old. It was not a death experience but a visit of an angel. I agree with you that it is Almighty God who touches the heart of every human being reading your book.
I do wish that your works continue to touch the lives of people around the globe for spiritual awakening.

I just lost my mother suddenly in June. She was 85. and my best friend. I was in shock and still have days of disbelief and sadness. I have been looking for answers and comfort. I feel her spirit, and her presence all around me. I have seen your book may times and never wanted to read it.But then as I was browsing around a cancer thrift shop, ( a good intro to your movie) and there it was. I believe are no accidents, only things waiting to happen. I picked it up and knew I had to read it. I started this morning and did not put it down until I finished. So much of what I believe and a lot of what I want to believe is in this book. I will read it again and pass it on. Thank you for writing this and sending angels to help me find it. Your book answered a delema for me.
When I was in New York City in June 2002 for a convention I saw a homeless man drunk and asleep on a bench. I don't know why he caught my eye but I stared at him. Suddenly I herd a voice very plain say Will you love me even when I have forgotten who I am Will you help me even though I have forgotten who I am. His lips did not move and I was very perplexed. Jesus is this you asking me this? How could you forget who you are? Do I tough love Jesus What , what did this mean. I finished your book last week and I believe it was that mans spirit asking for help. I didn't know how to help him but I am helping my friend who started a street ministry. I also realized this is all of us. We need to help each other all along our way. I now look at everyone differently we are all eternal beings from God. I am still in awe of this pespective of life on earth. a year and a half ago the women's recovery center that God told me to start closed because of men who clamed to be smarter than God I guess. I have forgiven them many times over but reading your book is helping me release it better. thank you for your courage to speak out and get the truth out.

Betty I am so excited to hear that you will be making a movie from your book embraced by the light. I know that this movie will come in the right moment. Because we will need it just when Jesus knows it is time. You are blessed to have had this experience but more to share it with everyone. I guess we all fear death especially when told by nuns if not good we go to hell. I was a catholic and use to keep thinking that God was going to send me to hell for beening so bad. Once I read your book I understood and I even had a vision. Yes, I saw my father and father-in-law in the garden. It was so beautiful and exactley like you said "You don't want to be here any more once you have seen heaven." You wish to stay there because of the love you feel in your soul. I pray to Jesus that your film will touch every ones soul and pray that you can also do it in spanish. I have read your books and given them to my friends and everyone I can I tell about your experience and book. My God help you on your journey in this life and keep up the spirits. I can't wait tell the movie comes out. with all the special effects those of us who have never ever expienced in our memory what it is like, the
special effects will be so important. i was hoping steven speilburg or lucus. it has to be a
wonderful story just like BETTY'S MEMORY. i am
so excited. as i have been reading her books for
years and re-read them as i grow in spirit.

I havent read a book in years , and onday walking in sag Harbor i passes a book store and in the window was your book i was drawn to it , not knowing why at the time, i just bought it and it sat in a draw for several weeks them , my soul mate of 15 years died in a crash , i could not deal with his death , then i remembered the book i bought weeks before, and i sat down and read your book i was so touched in my soul by your book and it had helped me in that time I loved it it had open doors to alot of other books and spirituality im not afraid anymore of death. Dear Betty I read your book since yesterday and I just finish this morning - there was so many answers to my prayers. I've had a bad anxiety lately about death, and I was scare about death from my childhood experiences. It took me so long time try to overcome it and I began to feel frustrated that I can't stop feel scare about death, but after going to counselor for help with anxiety and other personal life struggle and she recommend me to read the book "Embraced by the light" and she explained on how you detials everything about spirit world and everthing. I was kinda nervous because it speak about death, but I decided to take her advice and read it for the first time. WOW - this is one of the most AMAZING book I ever had read, and I knew exactly why you are suppose to be here, and you have helped so many people and included me! I want to thank you for help my anxiety and you know it slowly fade away and I am not afraid of death anymore. I trust that God loves us full and the way you descirbe it make me realized that God actually loves us - when I grew up I feel the same way as you and I feel like he abondaded me and I feel like he was not there or a curel person, but after I served on a mission that's where it changed me, but then I pray to know how much he loves me, but then I read the book and he is pure love for all of us.

Hi Betty, I read your book, Embraced by the light about 11 years ego, since then I have been given the book to many of my friend or just to anybody I think will read it and benefit from it like I have. I bought your book many many times, I feel that everybody should read it. Before I read your book, I always felt that way about many things you describe in your book and it made me know I wasn't along about my believe and it just made so much sence to me, I realy loved it. Just the other day I bought the book again I've told my husbnad I wanted for him to read it, he said he don't like to read that he will wait for the movie to come out, I told him there was no movie that I was going to buy the book again( which I did) so I can read it to him. well I read it again myself that was two days ago. however today to my surprise I went into the internet to see if I could ask you why there has not been a movie and I saw that you have been working on it I was very happy to learn that. I'm glad you are doing it your way. I also think that Steven Spilburg can make a good version, thats if he want to do it your way of course. Well I hope to see it on the big screen soon so my kids and husband can see it. I will definitely join your team to help you with your movie as soon as I can.

Just as they found the perfect man to play Superman, you will find the perfect man to play Jesus. He is a significant part of all of this. I read your first book over and over again. I read your book last night for the first time and shed tears of gratitude and joy, because it reaffirmed my testimony of our loving Brother and Saviour, Jesus Christ. I feel blessed that our Heavenly Father gave you the opportunity to experience a small amount of the eternal happiness that He has planned for us, and that you are able and willing to share it with the world.
I am thrilled that you are working on a movie of your experience, and relieved that you decided not to give it to the big producers.
Because I read in your book that music and song have a special place in Heaven, something that is also mentioned in the Scriptures, I would love to see that the accompanying musical score of your film is of the highest quality and sweetest spirit. I think that the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Orchestra at Temple Square as performers would bring a touching note to an already amazing message. Thank you.

I'm concerned that the pure messages shared in Embraced by the Light are conveyed appropriately. I hope the movie doesn't do more harm than good. I say this because of the sincerest and purest feelings experienced when reading Embraced by the Light were tainted when observing the telecasts on the various national television shows. Synics and people of lesser or no faith in God do not have the 'gift' of conveying Betty or her message appropriately. A similarity is the poorly made Bible movies, that made the Bible and God appear foolish and/or inappropriate.
I pray Betty and her message will not be tainted through this movie.

Thank God you are doing this movie. We need it down here on this plane.I had the pleasure of meeting you twice in new York. The spiritual truth that we are all one and that this is just a temporary school for us to learn and Grow. You book deeply changed my life. I have used it as a resource as how to live. As a spiritual counselor and healer that deals with suicidal people, I gently try to convince them, that they don't really die and to try to change their thoughts. I have helped I believe many adolescents make better choices. I had my own mini near death and God Spoke to me telling me to transform Hospitals! I responded from the Cardiac Care Unit with a blood clot in my lungs. you have got to be kidding.Unfortunately being down here I have lost my motivation, but am still working on it. Your book inspires me to push on. Especially if I help the kids and the elderly. It has been so painfully lonely on this journey. Keep working on the movie, I will put you on my prayer list. I just lost my husband tragecially a couple of weeks ago, on Thanksgiving Day. I have been unconsolable and felt I could not go on. I read your book overnight and understand that I have to let him go so he can feel the light you felt. AS I finished your book this morning his best friend called to tell me he had a dream with him last night.
He described a garden exactly as the one in your book and that the three of us were there. He explained that he was telling us that he was happy and telling us that he was well that we should not cry for him, that he would always be with us and watching over us. His friend explained that the love and happiness was flowing through us and filling us with his peace.

I purchased The Awakening Heart audio cassettes and have listened to it once. I am listening to it now for the second time. I can't wait to purchase "Embraced by the Light" on cassette and listen to it. I know you and others understand when I say that hearing you on the cassette helps the messages to enlighten us, sink in, etc., much more than if someone else did the reading.
