Dragonfly

In 2002, Universal Studios asked Betty J. Eadie to endorse and help publicize the film, "Dragonfly," directed by Tom Shadyac and starring Kevin Costner. She previewed the movie and agreed to lend her support.

Betty's involvement included traveling to New York to participate in the film's press junket and the filming of a special featurette for the eventual DVD release of "Dragonfly."

That featurette now appears with the bonus material on the DVD, lending a spirit of credibility and insight regarding near-death and after-death topics which are central to the film's storyline.

"'Dragonfly' deals with what I know is possible regarding our loved ones who have passed on," Betty has said. "It does this in a more realistic way than any other movie I have seen to date. It is entertaining, yes, but as you look past its dramatization, it is also educational."

 Reviews of the DVD featurette

"The most interesting featurette is author Betty Eadie’s recount of her own near-death experience. It compliments this material perfectly."
Eclipse Magazine

"There's a featurette in which author Betty Eadie talks about her near death experience. Its uplifting and really makes you think whether you are living your life as you are meant to."

"Even better is the featurette section. Bestselling author, Betty J. Eadie shares her near-death experience with us. What a credible witness to the near- death experience. Her story touched me deeply and has moved me to research this phenomena in greater detail. ...Overall, I would pay for that featurette alone. Add in the movie, and it's well worth your few bucks for it."
